Should I Buy a Nissan Navara or a Holden Colorado?
Hey John, I've just been chasing the best price I can get for a dual cab ute (style side). At the moment the best I've found is the Nissan Navara D40 and the Holden Colorado. Nissan Navara is about $42k with bullbar and tow bar. Holden Colorado is about $45k with the same accessories. I was wondering if you were able to find me a better deal? I am going to be needing finance, too. I would want to finance much at a much lower rate than 7%. Thanks, Mark
There's a lot of choice in the dual-cab ute segment. I think you should start by reading my report on these utes and watching the related video. Link below (in red).
Basically I’m not so sure the old Nissan Navara D40 (imminently to be replaced) is such a hot choice. However, the Holden Colorado is. So are the Ford Ranger and the Mazda BT-50 - I'd be test driving them, too.
Let me get the team from the brokerage to call you ASAP. They're the experts in this pricing area and they can help you achieve the best price on whatever you decide. They can assist you with the finance too - at rates much lower than seven per cent, from reputable Australian lenders.
FYI the replacement Nissan Navara, due in 2015, looks like this:
If you decide to go ahead with a purchase on the old Navara, you'll probably get some red-hot pricing if you can wait until the run-out sales kick off. The new Navar will, in all probability, tick all the current 'best practise' boxes: five-star Ancap safety rating, big tow capacity, six-speed gearboxes and grunty diesel engine.
