Help - I Need a New SUV
QUESTION
Hi John,
My partner and I have a new baby and we need to sell our cars and replace them with a new SUV. Just hoping for some advice. Thanks.
Kayla
ANSWER
Hi Kayla,
There's no shortage of SUVs on the market. I'd choose from the Kia Sportage, Hyundai ix35, Mazda CX-5, Hyundai Santa Fe, Subaru Forester and Subaru XV - all are baby friendly without being too big.

AVOID THESE VEHICLES
I'd steer away from the European brands - especially Volkswagen and Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz. Volkswagen has quality problems, and the other three aren't good value unless you spend more than $100k.
See how the Mazda CX-5 really stacks up against the Audi Q3 here:

Lastly I would really recommend using a car broker to get the car at the lowest possible price. There's really no other way to know what the best price in the market is. Please don't hesitate to send me another e-mail via the contact form on the right and I will put you in touch with David or Ben from the brokerage - they're nice blokes who can shop around for you and get a great deal quickly. More on how that works in the FAQ section.
Thanks for taking an interest in the website.
Sincerely,
