Do you have any thoughts/details regarding Kia's K900 and the Hyundai's Genesis? Also have you any details of both their release dates in Australia and pricing? On paper these cars seem to be very good value, depending on the pricing.
I posed your question to the PR bosses at both Kia Australia and Hyundai Motor Company Australia.
Kevin Hepworth from Kia said: "The K900 is left-hand drive only and has just started to appear in US dealerships. They have priced it at $64,000 (USD) for the full-fruit model. We have no plans at all to bring the car to Australia."
So that's pretty definitive on the K900 front. Pity, too. It's a classy looking thing.
Thankfully there's better news on the Hyundai Genesis sedan front. Bill Thomas from Hyundai said: "Launch will be toward the end of the year, in Q4. Can't be more specific than that." Informed speculation pitches the Australian price at the $60,000 price point.
