A few weeks back I approached you with regard to our new car purchase. Thank you for your prompt reply at that time. The deal has been done and we are now waiting for the car.

Because we opted for the beige leather interior the car had to be ordered as there wasn't one available in WA. That was okay with us but I thought this fact might affect our bargaining power as they couldn't get us into something that they had in stock, although they did try hard.

Anyhow: long story short, using the words of wisdom from your book, Beat the Dealer we decided what we considered a fair price and made the offer. After the colour came back to his face he said, need to run that past the principal. A short while later, to our great delight the salesman returned to confirm the offer had been accepted.

From $47,147 to $41500 including the options, (interior colour change and window tinting) was a quite substantial saving. We were very happy although had to laugh when we realised, that true to form they had stiffed us on six months rego , six months instead of twelve, couple of hundred bucks roughly. The salesman said that was normal however I know that generally on new cars they licence for a full year.

Thanks to your advice we achieved a great outcome for us. Love the videos , Nut-fest Friday is the highlight of my week.
