My family needs to swap a November 2008 year Hyundai Elantra manual with 43,000km in excellent condition and a June 2012 Ford Focus Trend Automatic with 17,500kms excellent condition.
Looking at an automatic Mazda 3 or Hyundai i30 or whatever is similar.
Thank your for your assistance with this matter.
The three best small cars are: The Mazda3, Toyota Corolla and Hyundai i30. Take a look at all three, decide which one your parents like and then match the budget to the specification level of each car. (Any of these three is a great car - you can't go wrong, and it's really down to budget and personal preference.)
Review my guide to buying a new car and not getting ripped off by dealers here. Don't mention the trade-in until you've settled on a price for the car itself.
When your parents know which car they want, please get back to me. A car broker is the best way to purchase the car at the best possible price - it avoids all the dealership rip-offs, and you end up buying the car from the dealership that offers the lowest price - fully under warranty as usual, no hidden fees and charges, just the best way to do it.
I have a great broker, and I'll put you in touch once your parents know which car they want, and have a quote from a dealer. The broker can trade in the cars as well and help your parents get the best possible deal there.
Good luck with it.
